How Do I Book A Session ?

Booking a session is simple and straight forward. Just call, e-mail or text me, from there we have a consultation, were we setup a date, time and place for the shoot.

What Should I Wear?

The purpose of a head shot is to portray you in the best possible light, so keep it simple. Try to avoid wearing bold and distracting patterns, bra straps that show, hats, scarves, wrinkled clothing and loud jewelry. Go with colors that compliment your eyes and skin tone. Fabrics with texture and layering clothing is good. What ever you wear make sure you feel comfortable in it.

What About Make-Up?

If you choose to do your own make please keep it light. I would advise in getting it done professionally, they are professionals for a reason. I can recommend a make-up artist(MUA) or you can get it done in store at places like Sephora, or MAC Cosmetics. Cost of a MUA run between $60 – $150.

How Long is A Session?

A Head Shot Session usually last about an hour from the time we start shooting.

How Many Pictures Will I Receive?

The session will result in 30-50 usable images. Photos will be uploaded to an online gallery on ColorWorkNYC.com. Color Works NYC will handle all of your retouching and printing needs. You will also receive a CD of all the images. Please contact ColorWorksNYC.com for retouching and printing rates.

How Quickly Will I Receive My Photos

After a session it will take up to five business days for the images to be uploaded to your ColorWorksNYC.com gallery. You will receive an e-mail with a username and password for access to your gallery. The disk containing your will also be ready in 5 business days.

Do You Travel?

I want you to be as comfortable as possible and I know people schedules are hectic. Having the session done at your place of business or at your home is viable option. There in no fee for travel within the five boroughs. Compensation and arrangements outside of New York City will be confirmed during our booking consultation.

How Do I Pay?

I request a 25% deposit a week before the session to lock in the date and time and full payment on the day of the session. Payments can be made in cash, or online through PayPal.com.
